Tom
You've addressed some of the tasks set for prep but you haven't completed it as requested. There should be some feedback on your timeline indicating what changes were required before you moved on to the storyboard stage. Also, you were expected to evaluate the CD covers chosen in order to discuss their effectiveness as influences.
These two elements must be added.

cd cover research
music instructor
swedish house mafia
daft punk
these three CD covers are from artists like ours, they all have indie rock styles of music with heavy synthesisers in it. these are more mainstream versions of does it offend you?yeah.
'Swedish House Mafia' CD cover i think is very good as is has elements of fun and clubbing but also mystery from the sunglasses and power from him holding up the ball. the daft punk cd cover shows the technology as it has the cartoon robots on it. the music instructor cd cover show a robot DJ'ing this shows fun and techno dance music. with a club feel. i feel our cd cover would be like these cd covers probobly most like daft punks cd cover.

The pop video content was based around the lyrics. The few lyrics that are in the video hit on the subject of technology and communication using computers, phones and websites such as facebook, myspace, bebo etc. So the group decided to use the idea of technology and how it is growing and becoming more advanced. We decided to use the idea of a guy looking through a set of picturtes for the girl he met the night before. The idea that the day after a party pictures and comments are on social networking sites and participants of the party and more look through these pictures to see what happened and what bits they missed.
We based our narrative on a man who meets a girl at the party which is said to be the best party of the year. He looks at his memories which he manages to put up on to a huge screen and he looks through pictures, documents, and websites and so on till he finds her (this is going to be technically advanced and futuristic) – shown through the perspex furniture that we will be using. This action comes in and out of the video while the rest of the video is at the party.
Within the video we are going to have various rooms set up, all with different visual effects. The band are playing in a performance room and we have various different shot types in that room. Again we are brought back to the man looking through these pictures and then to a new room. We have in total four different main and unique rooms, then a couple of plain rooms around a house plus the man and the screen.
The performance room - Here the band will be performing in a very plain white room, purely to help the band stand out as they will be dressed in quite dark clothing.
UV room - Here there are some dancers covered neatly in patterned glow paint to make the stand out.
The lighting room - It has been given this name due to the fact it has flashing white lights in it. It also is called the dry ice room as the floor is covered by dry ice to give the swirl effect of the smoke. In this room the band occasionally play as well as the dancers, dancing in there.
The mirror room. This room has several different mirrors in it all over the place whether they are on the wall or the floor and is lit up by flashing lights and hopefully lasers beaming of the mirrors.
This is the overall content of our pop video.

timeline

This timeline was written out and then disscussed with our media teachers. After being disscussed it changed when it came to putting into a storyboard. We changed around what sme of the rooms look liked and even added a couple of rooms in. This changed the order of our shots including getting rid of some and adding new ones in. We Gave the timeline an overall change instead of just changing specific areas of it.

Feedback
You've made a start in the identification of your initial ideas and of the hypothetical band who will be the basis of this project, but this is disappointingly brief and text heavy. There is no research evident into real artists/bands who might illuminate the creative choices you need to make and no illustration of the kinds of image/visual style you are aiming for. You will need to start investing much more time and effort if you are to benefit from the coursework process at A Level.
